Provide the required operational and preventative maintenance service for the Kauai Community Correctional Center Sewer Pump Station in accordance with the manufacturer's instructional manuals, the Operation and Maintenance Manual developed for the pump station, and the best practices of the industry governing the operation and maintenance of shredders, screens, odor control equipment, ventilation systems, and pump stations. Such services shall include furnishing and paying for removal of debris, labor, and hand tools necessary to properly operate and maintain the Kauai Community Correctional Center Sewer Pump Station. Contractor shall provide operational and preventative maintenance servicing as specified herein, for the period commencing July 1, 2025 up to and including June 30, 2026. Question Deadline 06/09/2025 Questions relating to this bid solicitation shall be submitted electronically to dcr.bids@hawaii.gov. Addendum Responding to Vendor Questions: June 13, 2025. New Contract Start Date: Jul 1, 2025 or start date on the Notice to Proceed. Unless terminated, the contract may be extended for not more than three (3) additional twelvemonth periods or parts thereof, without the necessity of rebidding, upon mutual agreement in writing, provided the contract unit price remains the same or as adjusted for any allowable increase related to increased wages to public employees performing similar work, or additional work or services as directed by the State, in writing.
