**As of July 03,2025, the project was awarded to Asphalt Contractors, Inc, with an awarded amount of $792,440.80.** The Base Bid work for the above contract includes the following streets within the Village of Elmwood Park and their respective roadway treatments: - Maryland Ave (from Lathrop Ave to Kensington Ct) - Pulverize and Relay - Wheelock Dr - Full Depth Mill & Overlay with Base Patching - McArthur Pl - 2" Mill and Overlay - N Elmwood Dr - 2" Mill and Overlay - Green Meadows Ln - 2" Mill and Overlay - Standish Ln - 2" Mill and Overlay The Base Bid of this project includes the installation of 6" terrace underdrain, inlets, and replacement of storm sewer. Major items of work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested include 9,500 SY of asphaltic surface milling, 3,500 tons of base aggregate dense, 1,800 tons of HMA pavement, 4,300 LF of 6" underdrain, and 4,200 SY of restoration. Items also included in this project are erosion control, mailbox removal and replacement, and traffic control. Bidders should pay particular attention to the requirements for Bid signatures, as set forth in Bid Security. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids within the 60-day period after the date of the Bid Opening. The Owner will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with bank money order, a Bid Bond, or a qualified certified check, payable to the Owner, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Owner accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the Owner.
