Site work for a water / sewer project in Scotts Hill, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid on is as follows: Installation of 15,880 ft of 10-inch water main, (8) 10" water valves, and 3 fire hydrants Installation of 10,110 ft of water main and (2) 6" water valves Installation of 14 service connections and 1 flush hydrant The allotted time for construction is 180 calendar days This project will be awarded to the best responsive bidder for the total bid of the combination of the two projects. One contractor will complete both projects. This project is being supported with the American Rescue Plan Act Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering into the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the Town of Scotts Hill. Deadline for Interpretations and Questions: Five (5) days before Bid date. Question Deadline 04/23/2025 The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
