The UPS System is essential for ensuring continuous power for critical IT infrastructure. The UPS System is defined as: (1) Galaxy VS UPS _ 50KW with N+1 Redundant Power Module - 480V 3-phase Hardwired Input & Output. Battery runtime is 26 minutes based on a load of 30KW. (1) Galaxy VS UPS 50kW 480V UPS with N+1 power module, for 5 smart modular 9Ah battery strings (GVSUPS50KR0B5GS). SYSTEM INCLUDES: (1) Galaxy VS Maintenance Bypass Panel, single unit, 10-30kW 208V, 20-60kW 480V wall mount - GVSBPSU60GWP. (5) Galaxy VS Smart Modular Battery String High Capacity 9Ah - GVSBTH4. Justification for single source acquisition (what is necessary and unique about the product, service or source; steps taken to confirm unavailability of competition, as appropriate): Pursuant to Section 287.057(3)(c), Florida Statutes, the requested UPS System is available only from Datamaxx for the following reasons: 1. Existing System Ownership: Datamaxx owns the UPS System currently installed in the building. Procuring this system directly from Datamaxx eliminates the need for removal, transportation, and installation of a new unit. 2. Seamless Transition & Cost Savings: Purchasing the existing UPS avoids significant downtime, installation costs, and compatibility issues associated with replacing it. A new system would require reconfiguration, electrical work, and potential modifications to the building infrastructure. 3. Compatibility & Operational Continuity: The UPS is already integrated into the building's electrical and IT infrastructure. Replacing it would introduce risks of system incompatibility and potential power disruptions during critical operations. 4. Market Availability & Efficiency: No other vendor can provide the same UPS System at this location without requiring a full replacement, making Datamaxx the only responsible source for this procurement. 5. Time Constraints & Business Continuity: Given the timeline for DOAH's move, acquiring the UPS directly from Datamaxx ensures immediate availability and operational continuity without delays.
