Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Montesano, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes all labor, materials and equipment install approximately 750 linear feet of monolithic cement concrete sidewalk and driveway approaches, installation of Hot Mix Asphalt pavement patching, clearing and grubbing, saw cutting, removal of sections of asphalt roadway and concrete driveways, subgrade preparation, roadside restoration and new signs. Related utility work includes installation of approximately 450-feet of 8-inch C900 PVC water main including valves, valve vault, fittings and appurtenances; approximately 550 feet of 6 to 18 storm drain pipe and related catch basins. A pre-bid conference will not be held. An award of contract is anticipated to be made within 45 days of bid opening. The City of Montesano accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and/or who do not acknowledge receipt of all addenda in the bid forms. All Proposals must be submitted on the Bid Form furnished with the Contract Documents, and each Bid Form must be accompanied by a cashiers check, postal money order or surety bond, by a bonding company licensed to do business in the State of Washington, made payable to City of Montesano in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the time set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding 30 days. City of Montesano reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, waive informalities, or reject any or all bids.
