The work to be performed under this contract consists of the installation of approximately 150 miles of skip centre stripe, 80 miles of skip centre stripe with no pass stripe, 160 miles of double yellow centre stripe, 500 miles of edge stripe, and 4,500 raised pavement markers, all in accordance with the State of Washington Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal made payable to Grays Harbor County Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grays Harbor County.
