The City of Montesano, Forestry Department, invites you to bid on its 2025 tree planting services contract. The package consists of approximately 27,000 seedlings on approximately 88 acres of recently logged forestland in the Montesano City Forest. The stock consists of bare root 1+1 seedlings grown at the DNR-Webster nursery. The trees will be available for pick-up by the tree planting Contractor at the Webster Nursery cold storage in Tumwater, WA. The Contractor is responsible for transporting seedlings from cold storage to planting units. All planting must be completed by March 31, 2025. A 25% bid bond is required with the bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to purchase a City Business License before work commences. You are advised to examine the areas prior to the bidding.
