Kittitas County Fire District 7 is seeking sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the aid in construction and installation of the Fire Training Tower located at 31 Firehouse Road, Cle Elum WA. This project involves providing the essential foundation and utility infrastructure to support the construction and operation of the Fire Training Tower. KCFD7 is looking specifically for the following trades: Concrete Flatwork: Pour and finish a 15ftx30ft 6in concrete slab for the first floor. Pour and finish a 15ftx15ft 4in concrete slab on floors 2-4. Electrical and Utility Installation: Installation of electrical systems to support the tower, including power connections for lighting, smoke generation systems, future training equipment, and lighting installation. Installation of electrical will include a supply line and service extension from an existing building. All contractors will be expected to meet the following qualifications: Contractors must be licensed, bonded, and insured to perform work in Cle Elum, Washington. Experience in concrete flatwork and electrical and utility installation for public works or similar safety infrastructure projects is required. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to complete the project within the prescribed timeline and budget. This project is subject to the Washington State prevailing wage laws. Contractors and subcontractors must pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. The projected start date will be May 1st, with precise scheduling available along with Bid documents, project specifications, detailed plans to scale, and bidding instructions, by request sent to the KCFD7 Project Manager contact. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with consideration given to the contractor's qualifications, past performance, and ability to meet the project requirements on Monday April 21st via email.
