The City of Moorpark is located in the southeastern part of Ventura County, California. It is a developing community in transition with a population of just under 37,000. Moorpark is divided by Highway 118 immediately west of Simi Valley, California. The City of Moorpark is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for Citywide Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance, Repair and Emergency Response Services. The selected Firm/Contractor will be responsible for 22 signalized intersections and approximately 2,363 streetlights throughout the City. These services will include routine and preventive maintenance, unscheduled repairs, emergency response, and related services to ensure the safety and efficiency of the City's traffic and streetlight systems. Proposers must have sufficient expertise and experience to complete the work described in the Scope of Services. The successful proposer will be required to demonstrate experience working on similar projects. The Technical Proposal and Cost Proposal must be submitted as separate documents marked: Proposal for Citywide Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance, Repair and Emergency Response Services Proposals shall consist of two separate documents as follows: o The Technical Proposal document shall include a digitally signed copy of the Technical Proposal. Please name the document "Technical Proposal Traffic Signal Maintenance and Streetlight Maintenance Services". o The Cost Proposal document shall include a digitally signed copy of the Cost Proposal. Please name the document "Cost Proposal Traffic Signal Maintenance and Streetlight Maintenance Services". Include in the subject line: "Citywide Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance, Repair and Emergency Response Services" Submittals will not be opened publicly. A tally of names will be performed and may be released upon request. The Citywide Traffic Signal and Streetlight Maintenance, Repair and Emergency Response Services contract will have a four (4) year term, with two optional two (2) year terms. The total term of the proposed contract may extend for up to eight (8) years from award by the City.
