The proposed scope of work consists of but is not limited to: The abatement and complete demolition of the existing Forest Park Middle School per plans in preparation for the construction of a new facility. Included will be the abatement and disposal of all asbestos materials within the facility, disconnection of existing utilities, the demolition of all existing structures. All anticipated federal, state and local permits required for the Project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated to be ready for issue upon General Contractors executed Contract. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have not been obtained. Required rights of way or easements are anticipated to be ready for issue upon General Contractors executed Contract. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price.
