This Project Consists of All Work Associated With the Construction of a New Thickening Building, Including Purchasing and Installing the New Thickening Equipment, Thickened Waste Activate Sludge Pump, Polymer Feed and Storage System, Installation of a New Waste Activated Sludge Pump, Piping Modifications in the Mbr Support Building, Yard Piping Modifications, and Associated Electrical and Instrumentation Improvements. Project Shall Include All Necessary Labor, Materials, and Testing in Accordance With the Plans and Specifications. Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Cashier's Check or Certified Check From a National Or State Bank in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Total Maximum Bid Price, Payable Without Recourse to the City, or an Original Bid Bond in the Same Amount From a Surety Company Licensed by the State of Texas to Act as a Surety and Listed on the Current U.s. Treasury Listing of Approved Sureties, or a Binder of Insurance Executed by a Surety Company Licensed by the State of Texas To Act as a Surety or Its Authorized Agent as a Guarantee That the Respondent Will Enter Into a Contract and Execute a Performance Bond Within Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award of Contract to Respondent. Project is Complete a One (1) Year Maintenance Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Contract Price. All Bonds Shall Be Submitted by a Surety Company Specifically Approved in Writing From the City Holding a Permit From the State of Texas to Act as a Surety, or Other Sureties Acceptable to the City.
