We are accepting pricing currently for the student classroom furniture needs for our Effingham County High School Phase II Wing Addition for the 2025-2026 year. We will award by line item, and will need inside delivery. Because of the current state of delivery delays of overseas items, we will NOT accept bids for furniture that is assembled outside of the continental United States. Bidding vendors must be a U.S. company, with manufacturing/warehousing facilities in the United States. Items can not be assembled by vendor at our school site, as we do not have the room for staging assembly areas. Items should be priced as listed, unless sub item is considered, as noted on the spreadsheet. Please provide specs if sub item is quoted. Quantities may change slightly based on school final needs analysis. Please include in your pricing response a current W-9 for your company, and if you have not done business with our district previously, references should be included in your pricing response. Items will be awarded based on pricing as a primary factor, but not exclusively. Other factors considered will be past experience (if applicable), references if no prior experience with our system, quality of items offered (alternate items proposed), and whether the time frame needs can be met. Items are awarded on per line basis, not bulk award. Please make sure shipping costs is included in the per line item pricing. Nothing prior to mid November 2025 as we do not have warehouse or storage facilities for furniture to be housed. We do not have loading dock or fork lift at any of our school locations, so shipping should be packaged accordingly. We are requesting inside delivery, so please ensure that this will take place. We do not have readily available maintenance men at these sites, so if product is shipped in a way that requires additional man power on our end to assemble or unload, we will have to refuse shipment at shipper's expense. Assembly of furniture by seller is not allowed on our school site, as we cannot accommodate any type of staging needed due to christmas break maintenance projects happening in our schools, and it would be an insurance liability for our district. Delivery dates/times are to be strictly adhered to, and any delays caused by suppliers will not be acceptable reason to allow delays of deliveries.
