Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Richmond, Kentucky. Working plans call for the construction of a 35,122-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of July 11, 2025, the City will be rejecting all bids per the direction of their financial team. The project is anticipated to rebid in March 2026. The City is not looking for any value engineering to be conducted at this time and will rebid the project as designed. Project Description: Project includes site improvements and new construction for the Richmond Police Department, buildings include a singles story main Police Headquarters including an ICC-500 rated storm shelter, a pre-engineered support building, and a pre-engineered maintenance storage building as an Alternate. Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference.
