A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Gila River Indian community is seeking Construction services from a General Contractor for the Construction and Renovation of the District Two (2) Hashan Kehk Ball Park. There will be construction and civil improvements to existing site. Construction shall include, but is not limited to, the site development to update current onsite facilities and the following: o Modify and refurbish the existing baseball field with new grass and irrigation system; o Renovate existing bathroom facilities; o Renovate convenient/concession stand w/food prep area and ice machine; o New parking lot with drop-off area; o New playground with shade canopy; o New skate park; o New basketball courts; o New volleyball court; o New 16x16 park ramadas with grills and water faucets; o New fire lane; o New 20'x30'park maintenance and storage buildings; o New story telling area; o New bar-b-que area with serving counter, hand washing area, and fans; o Drinking faucets throughout park; o New 20'x40'metal storage building for big ramada with storage area; o New 120'x60'big ramada (metal) with water faucets, stage and ceiling fans; o Two 20'x30' ramadas with grills and water faucets; o New walking trail around the park; o Sidewalks throughout park including sidewalk connected to service center parking lot; o Site and parking lot lighting; o Security fence (wrought iron) around the park including pedestrian and vehicle access gates; o Trash enclosure space; o Drainage improvements; and o Landscape throughout the park. These improvements will include a new paved parking lot for better ADA maneuverability, ADA compliant sidewalks in lieu of gravel, and some civil grading and drainage improvements to control the flooding issues on the existing ball fields. The General Contractor will be expected to work closely with Tribal Projects staff and the design team during construction of this project. The selected contractor will be expected to begin construction within 10 days upon receiving a Notice to Proceed and complete all project work within one hundred eighty days (180). The contract will be awarded to the successful construction firm whose proposal, conforms to the RFP, and is most advantageous to the Community. The Community reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals received and to accept any portion of any proposal or all items proposed if deemed in the best interest of the Community.
