A not-for-profit public benefit corporation under contract the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMed) to provide cleaning, security, and maintenance services, including tree maintenance, on the Portland Transit Mall and the MAX Loop in downtown Portland. PMMI is seeking proposals from qualified tree maintenance contractors for the following work: 1) Annual pruning of street trees on 1/3 of the Transit Mall including building clearance, sidewalk clearance, road clearance, and clearance from the overhead catenary line (OCS); 2) Pruning in specified locations on the MAX Loop as requested; 3) Annual treatment and fertilization of 170 maples and 23 lindens on the Mall 4) Tree removal and stump grinding as requested (5-10 locations per year); 5) Planting of new trees and establishment watering as requested.
