A not-for-profit public benefit corporation under contract the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMed) to provide cleaning, security, and maintenance services, including landscape maintenance, on the Portland Transit Mall and the MAX Loop in downtown Portland. PMMI is seeking proposals from qualified landscape maintenance contractors for the following work: 1) Provide watering for South Mall planting areas (SW 5th and 6th Avenue between Market St. And Jackson St.) as needed beginning July 1 through September 30; 2) Fall pruning, weed and leaf removal, weed suppressant, and trash clean up within the South Mall planting areas; 3) Spring weed removal, weed suppressant, and trash clean up within the South Mall planting areas; 4) Spring weed removal, weed suppressant, and trash clean up around tree wells on the Transit Mall and MAX Loop; 5) Provide additional leaf clean up, weeding, weed suppressant, watering, and/or mulching as directed by PMMI.
