The scope of work includes partial demolition and support of an existing retaining wall, and construction of a new retaining wall. 5% Bid Deposits. Bidders Are Hereby No- Tified That Bid Deposits Must Be 5% of His/ Her Bid, and Shall Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, or Certified Check, Treasurer's Check, Or Cashier's Check and Made Payable to the City of Boston. The Attention of All Bidders is Directed to the Boston Residents Jobs Policy Section of the Specifications and the Obligation of the Con- Tractor in the Performance of This Contract. Cordance Contractors Must Pay Prevailing Wages as Set by the Massachusetts Depart- Ment of Labor Standards. A Performance Bond and Labor and Ma- Terials Payment Bond Satisfactory to the Awarding Authority, of a Surety Company Licensed to Do Business Under the Laws of The Commonwealth and Included on the U.s. Treasury Current List of Approved Sure- Ties (See Circular 570), in the Sum of 100% Of the Contract Price Will Be Required of the Successful Bidder. The Awarding Authority Reserves the Right To Waive Any Informality in or to Reject Any And All Bids if It is in the Public Interest to Do So.
