Renovation of a parking garage in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The project will remove and replace deteriorated dry sprinkler pipes, connections, and sprinkler heads at the Boston Common Garage. The project will provide a comprehensive sprinkler test to determine if additional dry sprinkler system components are to be replaced. These items will be replaced at a unit price. The project will remove and replace the existing dry sprinkler system air compressors. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted to bflynn@massconvention.com in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 18, 2025. Each bid shall be submitted and will be considered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents, and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and also a labor and materials or payment bond as set forth in the bid form. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party. Project No. - 22005617.00
