Dumpster Pad Replacement The following specifications shall be considered in your bid: 1. Contractor to remove the existing asphalt and concrete at the dumpster location. 2. The area to be removed and replaced is outlined with blue paint. Area is approximately 21x100. Contractor shall field verify. 3. Contractor shall also demo and replace the existing approach, also outlined in blue. 8 inches of concrete is required. 4. Contractor shall repair the base and compact 5. A minimum of 10 gage 6x6 wire mesh shall be used in both areas. 6. A minimum 6 inch depth and 8 inches for the approch of 4500-psi concrete shall be installed. 7. Where new concrete meets existing concrete, contractor shall pin together. 8. Contractor shall repair any damage to the lawn, and to seed any backfilled areas. 9. Contractor shall be insured and provide copy of liability insurance and workers' comp. 10. Contractor is to provide all necessary materials, and equipment. 11. Contractor is to provide barricades to project and public. 12. Contractor is to provide only qualified personnel to complete the project. 13. The County also reserves the right to negotiate separately with any source whatsoever in any manner necessary to attend to the best interests of the County, to waive irregularities in any proposal and to accept a proposal which best meets the needs of the County, irrespective of the bid price. The County reserves the right to make an award without further discussion of any proposal submitted. Therefore, the proposal should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms which the offer can propose. There will be no best and final offer procedure. The County does reserve the right to contact an offer for clarification of its proposal.
