The SOUTH BRUNSWICK Board of Education, hereby advertises for competitive bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(a) (b) for Boiler / Burner Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance The intent and purpose of this bid is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to provide Boiler/Burner Cleaning and Preventative Maintenance services for the South Brunswick Board of Education. The Board also requires service on an "as needed", on call and time and materials contract. The term of contract shall be from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. The Board of Education reserves the right to offer up to a two (2) year extension of this contract if it so desires. The bid opening process will begin on the advertised date and time at the Board Offices, 231 Blackhorse Lane, Monmouth Junction, New Jersey 08852. Bids may also be submitted to the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary or his designee at the bid opening meeting, prior to the advertised date and time. Location of Bid Opening: South Brunswick Board of Education 231 Blackhorse Lane Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, 08852. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a-c), and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22, and to waive minor informalities or nonmaterial exceptions, that may be in the best interest of the board. Question Deadline 04/23/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the specifications will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretations should be made in writing to the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary or the Architect/Engineer of Record and must be received by same at least ten (10) business days, not including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids to be given consideration Any and all interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be distributed in the form of written addenda to the specifications. The addenda will be provided by the board of education in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-21(c) (2) to the bidder by certified mail, certified fax or delivery service, no later than seven (7) days, not including Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays prior to the date for acceptance of the bids. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract document.
