Renovation of a transportation facility in North Adams, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Upgrade Access Gate Operators for Gates 1 and 5. Furnish, install New Slide Gate operators to replace the current old operators at Gates 1 and 5 along with all required safety equipment and hardware. Furnish and install two new 115v/240v 1 phase 1hp slide gate operators installed on existing post mount. Operators to include installed heater with thermostat and built in adjustable time to close. Furnish and install four reversing edge on leading edge of existing gate, two reflector photo eyes mounted on a gate opening post, two Siren operated sensors for emergency vehicle access and vehicle presence sensors for controlled entrance and free exit. Existing entry controls will be reused and replaced equipment shall be removed and disposed of. NOTE: This project is being funded by MassDOT Aeronautics Division through an ASMP grant and is required to have construction completed in full by 6/30/25.
