Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

600 SY of 4" Depth Base Repair 684 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave Wearing Course 140 Tons of 2A Crushed Aggregate, placed as shoulder back-up All materials and workmanship must meet rite requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class "F" Bituminous Paving All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of die bid made payable to Texas Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Texas Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or perilous of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. All work must be completed by October 24, 2025; liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $875 per day for each day beyond tins date that the work remains incomplete.
