Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Menasha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Asphaltic Concrete Pavement Crack Sealing Pre-Qualification: Yes The project will consist of asphaltic concrete pavement crack sealing of various City streets and parking lots. The work under this Contract Unit involves pavement crack sealing work on the streets listed on the Bid Form. All visible cracks in the asphalt pavement along the listed routes shall be sealed by the Contractor. The longitudinal joint between the edge of asphalt and concrete gutter shall be routed and crack sealed if not already sealed. The Lowest Bidder shall be determined by the lowest Total Bid Amount of all of the Bid Items. The City has a Budget of $73,000 and may remove bid items, prior to award, from the lowest Bidders Bid to meet the Budgeted amount All questions as to the meaning of the contract documents and all questions as to the interpretations of any orders or directions which may have been issued in connection with the work will be decided by the Director of Public Works, whose decisions shall be considered final.
