Brief Scope of Work: Milling, repaving, regrading, and restriping of multiple lots located around PPG Arena. Contractor is to confirm all measurements prior to bid package, any discrepancies should be noted in the bid package in unit price allowance. Line striping must conform to PennDOT standards. All surfaces must be prepared properly, and work site must be cleaned after work completion. Bids shall be sealed and submitted on the Bid form provided. Bids will be opened publicly. The contract will be a prime contract with the Owner. Bid pricing (for base bid and/or alternates) may be held open by Owner for a period of ninety (90) days following bid opening before award of contract. All Bids will require a ten percent (10%) surety in the form of a Bid Bond, a certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of no less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Base Bid (unless otherwise noted in the Bid Form Document). The surety is required as a guarantee that the bidder will, if awarded the contract, enter into a written contract with the Owner. All sureties must be licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bid Bonds should name Owner as obligee. All checks should be made payable to the order of Owner.
