Conduct preliminary engineering services, land acquisition, and final design engineering for 70th Ave N from N Washington St. to approximately 1/2 mile west of N 55th St. The City intends to execute one cost plus fixed fee contract. The project is expected to consist of a road improvement project on 70th Ave N from N Washington St. to approximately 1/2 mile west of N 55th St. The proposed scope of work includes survey, preliminary engineering, land acquisition, final design engineering, and bidding support. This project is projected to be partially funded utilizing Economic Development Administration (EDA) funding. Excluding land acquisition, project documentation will be required to follow EDA requirements. Scope of work is anticipated to include the following: Preliminary Engineering o Project Corridor Layouts and Typical Sections o Master Plan Level Utility Layout and Sizing o Identification of Existing Utility Location and Potential Conflicts o Determination of Right of Way Impacts o Cost Estimates o Public Input o Geotechnical Review o Environmental Review ROW Services o Plats o Negotiations o Appraisals o All activities required to be compliant with Title III of the Uniform Relocation Assistance & Real Property Acquisition Policy Act of 1970.
