Demolition and new construction of a transportation facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 46,000-square-foot, three-story above grade transportation facility.
As of May 30, 2025, construction is underway. All trades have been awarded. *The original solicitation is listed below for historical reference. McGough Construction, on behalf of the University of North Dakota (UND), is soliciting bids for Bid Package Two (BP2) for the UND Flight Operations Building located in Grand Forks, ND. The project consists of demolition of the existing ND Flight Operations Building located at Grand Forks Airport and new construction of a 46,000 SF 3-story building. Bid Package #2 consists of precast concrete, structural steel, fiber communications, and site utilities. Precast Concrete Structural Steel Supply Structural Steel Installation Utilities Fiber Temporary Pavement Bids will be received up to 1:00 PM on May 6th ,2025. Additional information can be found within the bidding documents.(Apr. 14 & 21 & 28, 2025) As of April 16, 2025, Construction is expected to start July 2025. The total project is expected to complete January 2027
