Description of Work The proposed work is officially known as High Lift Pump Rebuild, as further described in the Specificaitons section herein. Questions received by the Village, including the Village's responses will be consolidated and posted on DemandStar.com and the Village's website. The deadline for submitting questions is 2:00 pm local time 04/30/2025. Bidders will provide written acknowledgment of each addendum issued with their submitted bid. Oral explanations will not be binding. The following Specifications and other provisions shall govern the performance of the proposed Work and will be made a part of the Contract. The Wilmette Water Plant is a conventional surface water treatment facility that purifies and pumps Lake Michigan water to the approximately 145,000 residents of Wilmette, Glenview, Prospect Heights, North Maine Township, Kenilworth, and Golf. The plant uses the conventional unit process of coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation and filtration to purify the water before it is pumped to customers The Village's Water Management Department is seeking quotations to rebuild two (2) separate pumps at the Wilmette Water Plant located at 200 Lake Avenue, Wilmette, IL 60091. This Work consists of removing and rebuilding High Lift #20 pump and motor, and High Lift #3 pump and motor. The Bidder shall provide all tools, labor, transportation, and materials to safely remove the rotating assembly, rebuild the pump and motor according to specifications and reinstall according to Original Equipment Manufacturers ("OEM") specifications Both units are located at Wilmette Water Plant, 200 Lake Avenue, Wilmette, IL 60091.
