Renovation of a municipal facility in Gloversville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,639-square-foot municipal facility.
1.) All material and workmanship must comply with all State and City codes. 2.) Any deviation from specifications or scope of work requires a signed change order before that portion of the work can begin. 3.) "Or equal" substitutions must be approved by Program Inspector prior to installation. 4.) All building permits and proof of liability and worker's compensation insurance must be on file prior to start of work. 5.) Final inspections and certificates of compliance must be issued and on file prior to final payment Work is required for an estimated 7,639 square feet of roof at 73 N. Main St. Specific work includes the top rubber roof, the lower half rubber roof that is not coated and the elevator shaft. The project requires a power wash roof with preferred Wac II membrane cleaner. The project requires priming the roof surface with Tack Coat. The project requires screwing down the rubber in valleys to get it to drain properly, reinforce seams with manufacturer Conklin Roofing Systems and preferre Spunflex Fabric Embedded in RRIII Basecoat, and apply with preferred White Rapid Roof III at approximately 2 gallons per square. The building owner will supply water and electrical power as needed. In instances where a brand name or manufacturer is specified, the clause "or acceptable equal" shall apply.
