Renovation of a municipal facility in Newport, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of June 06, 2025, the project was awarded to Bionic Controls & Building Automation, LLC, with an awarded amount of $22,941.62.** ** bid date info : Bids will be accepted by the following methods: A. Deliver bids in person before bid opening. The doors to the courthouse and Commissioners room are open to the public. B. USPS or Delivery Services :Please be aware there may be delays in your service with these firms. The envelope containing the bid shall be sealed and clearly labeled with the project name. The above work & materials are per specifications provided in the Project Scope as listed in this document. This project will upgrade the HVAC Controls located at the Pend Oreille County WSU Extension Building, 227 South Garden Avenue Newport, WA 99156. The following scope of work identifies the tasks to be completed. The Contractor shall dispose of all replaced equipment. The work site shall remain in a neat and orderly manner during the entire project. The contractor shall maintain general facility access during all phases of work. The working hours shall be Monday-Friday 6am-4:30 pm. 1- VAV controls a. Replace all zone controllers on VAV's-6 Total i. Controls shall communicate and modulate open and close zone dampers based on zone demand and RTU supply air temp. ii. Controls shall report back to a user-operated interface capable of remote internet access. b. Replace wall modules for VAV's-6 Total c. Replace in-duct temperature sensors-6 Total 2- Exhaust Fans-3 Total a. Install Exhaust Fan controls on 3 zones b. Replace unitary controllers for exhaust fans 3- RTU Controller-1 Total a. Replace RTU Controller b. Replace unitary controller for RTU c. Replace temperature probes and current transducers 4- Software Control Package a. Provide, install, and program software with end user front end. i. The contractor shall coordinate with County IT department for access to network, programming needs, update intervals and functionality for both user front end and remote access to system. ii. Software shall not have any subscription fees. iii. Software shall have 24/7 support and Contractor shall have technicians available to be onsite within 3 hours for any programming or repair that cannot be performed remotely. iv. Controls shall report back to user operated interface capable of remote internet access.
