Eastern Kentucky University is seeking bids for painting services for Martin Hall. Questions Due By: 4/17/2025 no later than 2:00PM EST - Submit via the Q&A Board within this solicitation event Substantial Date for Completion: 40 days from stated start date on purchase order Final Date for Completion: 43days from stated start date on purchase order Liquidated Damages: - $200 per day until Substantial Completion - $100 per day until Final Completion This invitation is for paint services in Martin Hall as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky University's Richmond, KY Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the project outlined in the event and attachments including all items indicated throughout the event. Description Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Base Bid: The base bid will consist of patching and painting of the interior walls of the Martin Hall Building. Wall colors are to be SW 7035 Aesthetic White with the current accent walls being either SW 7023 Requisite Gray or the custom color of Manuel Garnet. The product used for each of these colors shall be Captivate with a satin sheen. The work shall include all necessary preparation of the walls, manipulation and protection of furniture, floors, windows, window treatment, receptacles, etc. from patching compound, sanding dust, roller spatter or over-spray. Finished walls shall be completely painted without any bleeding through or grinning of the surface/finish below. Upon completion of each area, rooms are to be vacuumed, and furniture replaced to original positions. All contractors and subcontractors shall be accompanied by EKU representatives for the duration of the project, unless they are otherwise informed in writing by the EKU Project Manager (this requirement will apply to any alternates that is accepted). C. Alternate 1: Paint all doorframes Pro Industrial SW 4009 Walnut Brown Semi-Gloss. The work shall include all necessary preparation of the frames.
