Project Description: Project Consists of a Complete Building System for a New Bus Garage Facility to Be Located East of the Existing School and Just East of the Existing Track, Located to the South Off of West Brimfield Jubilee Road. Work Includes Bringing Utilities to the Site, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Work, Site Grading, New Entrance, Etc. The Base Bid Includes the Building as Shown in the Plans Including the Utilities, Restroom, Hvac Equipment, Wash Bay, Concrete Floor in a Portion of the Building (Area S1), Concrete Entrance and Aggregate Drive and Parking Areas. The Project Includes One Alternate Bid for the Construction of a Concrete Floor in Area S2 of the Building, the Cold Storage Area. The Extent of the Scope of Work for Base Bid and Alternates is Indicated in the Drawings. Construction Contract: Bids Will Be Received as One Lump Sum for the Base Bid and Lump Sum for the Bid Alternate. The Plans and Specifications Do Not Include Separate Bid Packages. It is Anticipated That the Board of Education Will Be Acting on the Bid at the Wednesday, June 25, 2025, School Board Meeting at 7:00 Pm Local Time. Commencement of the Work Will Begin as Early as June 30, 2025, Pending the Contractor's Submittal of an Executed Contract Along With the Submittal of the Required Insurance Certificate(S), Bond(S), and Any Other Miscellaneous Documents. The Work Shall Be Substantially Completed on or Before August 1, 2026, or, if Not Feasible, Completed on or Before a Date Submitted by the Contractor as Part of Their Bid. Bid Submittal and Opening Owner Will Receive Sealed Bids Until the Bid Time and Date at the Location Indicated Below. Bids Will Be Publicly Opened and Read Aloud. Bid Security Bid Security Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Amount. No Bids May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Opening of Bids. Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Informalities and Irregularities.
