Demolition and site work for a road / highway in Carol Stream, Illinois. Working plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.

As of May 2, 2025, no bids received for the project. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. These services include the transportation and disposal of Clean Construction or Demolition Debris (CCDD) and non-CCDD materials, as well as the delivery of various grades of stone to designated Village locations. The intent of this bid is to establish a reliable partnership with a contractor who can ensure timely and compliant hauling services that support the Village's public works operations. All work must adhere to applicable regulations, safety standards, and project timelines. Completion Date: April 30, 2026 Disposing of CCDD (clean construction or demolition debris) spoil materials accumulated through various public works activities. The materials include spoils from water, sewer and street repairs, as well as spoils from street sweeping debris and leaves. To the best of the Village's ability, the material will be free of landscape waste and general garbage. The spoil material may contain chunks of concrete or asphalt. The Village will load the material onto the contractor's trucks. Typically, this is needed 3-4 times a year with approximately 25 loads each time. The majority of spoil materials are stored at 245 N Kuhn Rd, Carol Stream, IL 60188. Enough trucks need to be provided to removal all accumulated spoils in 1-2 business days. B. Disposing of non-CCDD material needing to be hauled to an approved landfill for disposal, typically the facility located in Grayslake, IL. Hauling only, no material disposal fees. Typically, this is needed 2-3 times per year, with approximately 10 loads each time. Enough trucks need to be provided to removal all accumulated spoils in 1 business day. The Village will provide testing and an IEPA form LPC-663 for each hauling assignment. The successful contractor will remove the materials as needed throughout the year. C. Deliver various grades of stone, sand as needed, typically to the Village's storage facility at 245 N Kuhn Rd, Carol Stream, IL 60188. D. Drivers are responsible that trucks leaving the Public Works facility, loaded with spoil materials, are within IDOT weight limits, and are reasonably close to the maximum allowable IDOT weight limit for the vehicle being used
