leasant Hill Park Final Design The Carol Stream Park District does hereby invite sealed bids for Pleasant Hill Park Final Design. Work will include signage, playground equipment installation, basketball hoop and post installation, site furnishing installation, temporary soil erosion and sediment control, site preparation and removals, earthwork, asphalt paving, pavement markings, concrete paving and curbs, playground ramps, play surfacing (engineered wood fiber), landscape block retaining wall resetting, turf grass seeding, plants, and storm utility drainage piping. The successful bidder, as determined by the Carol Stream Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Carol Stream Park District (DuPage County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The successful contractor, and all subcontractors shall be required to submit certified payrolls online no later than the tenth day of each calendar month for the immediately preceding month. The Carol Stream Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Carol Stream Park District. The Carol Stream Park District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
