Town of Youngtown will be accepting bids from eligible bidders for the following activity: W. ARIZONA AVENUE, W. ALABAMA AVENUE, N. 113th AVENUE STORM DRAIN & MANHOLE INSTALLATION 12030 N. Clubhouse Square Youngtown, Arizona 85363 ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: The Work to be included under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials and incidentals required for the installations of the construction items outlined in the contract documents. Construct Phase 1 of flood mitigation infrastructure consisting of 10 Manholes, 6 Catch Basins, 931LF of 24", 719LF of 18", and 206LF of 12" inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe that will collect flood waters along its path and deliver them to the discharge point at the Agua Fria River, thus reducing flooding in the commercial area for a minimum 25-year storm event. Project also consist of returning construction zone to its pre-existing conditions. See contract documents for specific scopes of work. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to TOWN OF YOUNGTOWN, as guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, he will, within ten days (10) from the date of such award, enter into proper CONTRACT and bond condition for the faithful performance of the work, otherwise said amount will be forfeited to said TOWN OF YOUNGTOWN as liquidated damages. Such check or bid bond will be returned to the respective unsuccessful bidders upon the award of the contract to the successful bidder and will be returned to the successful bidder upon the execution and delivery of the satisfactory surety company bonds and construction contract. Planholders will be requested to supply the following information on the planholders list: the name of the company, current address, telephone, and fax phone number. Neither the Engineer nor the owner will be responsible for non-receipt of addenda due to incorrect or missing information on the planholders list. TOWN OF YOUNGTOWN will endeavor to insure in every way possible that disadvantaged/minority/ women-owned business enterprises plus Section 3 qualified businesses shall have every opportunity to participate in providing professional services, goods and construction contracts without being discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, sex age or natural origin
