Remove & dispose of approximately 2,800' of existing fence including the Softball backstop B. Area One: Provide & install approximately 2,1-20' of 6' high black chain link fence. Five (5) 4' chain link fence. C. Area Two: Provide & install 80' of 16' high black chain link fence with a 4' overhang - Softball backstop. D. Area Three: Provide & install approximately 450' of 6' high black aluminum fence. One (1) 4' wide gate, one (1) 5' wide gate, one (1) 6' wide double gate & two (2) 12' wide double gates. 2.1- Materials specifications: A. Aluminum - Elite Fence style EFF-20 industrial grade aluminum has a lifetime warranty on power coating. B. 2-1/2" posts & 4" gate posts are anchored in 36" of concrete. C. Chain Link - 8 gauge, 2B, chain link fabric. All pipe to be used is SS40. 2" gate frames have welded corners & include industrial hardware. 7-gauge bottom tension wire. 3" terminal posts & 2"-line posts are anchored in 36" of concrete. 1-5/8" top rail. Chain link material is made of black vinyl coated galvanized steel. 4" posts for the 20' double gates. D. Softball backstop will have top, bottom & three (3) mid rails. 4" posts are anchored in 60" of concrete. 2.2 All vertical pipes will be covered with black pipe caps. 2.3 Fencing materials shall be steel construction. All corner, gate and line posts will be Allied SS- 40. Top rail will be Allied SS-40. 2.4 Minimum component specifications: A. Top rail 1.66" O.D B. Line post 2.38" O.D C. Corner/ End post 2.90 O. D D. 72 "Pedestrian gate E. Maximum span between line posts shall be 10'. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities therein, or to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder, which is in the best interest of the district.
