Renovation of a mixed-use development in Edison, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,948-square-foot educational facility.
**As of June 3, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Renovation for our upcoming School Base Health Center. The project includes the renovation of an unused former school media center. The project is an interior renovation of an existing building for the purpose of a Calhoun County School-Based Health Center. The existing space to be renovated has an area of 2,948 square feet. The renovated building will contain exam rooms, vision and dental rooms, a lab room, a lobby, toilets, and administrative offices. All project bid documents are to be obtained from the Georgia State Procurement Registry. All proposals must be on a lump sum basis; no segregated proposal will be accepted. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time and date of opening of bids. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. The bids must be submitted on the proposal forms as indicated in the specifications. The Performance and Payment Bonds will be required by the successful bidder in the full amount of the Contract Sum. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in the bidding.
