No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. The Eau Claire County Highway Department reserves the right to investigate the references and credentials of the bidders. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the maximum base bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of time as specified in the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Contract and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. QUALIFICATIONS Bidders shall be experienced in this type of work and shall be prequalified with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for work in the class and amount of their bid, or shall complete the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications bound with the proposal.
