The project consists of replacement of approximately 490 ft. of 6" Transit Water Line with line with 8" PVC C900 and new service lines to the property line of 9 residences. Also the subsequent restoration of the pavement of Church Street involving partial milling, approximately 26 tons of leveling course followed by 985 SY of 1 1/2 " resurfacing. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded at the Public Meeting of the Borough Council beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Borough of Youngstown, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. Doc note: Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from either office beginning Wednesday, April 9, 2025, upon payment of $50.00 made payable to BENCHMARK ENGINEERING. The cost for electronic plans is $35.00. NOT REFUNDABLE. If documents are sent by US Mail, add $9.50 for postage and handling. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality.
