Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Penn Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For the following Contract: 2025 Bituminous Paving Project on various streets in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, PA 1939 TonsSuperpave Asphalt Mix Design, WMA Binder Course, 240 lbs/sy All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Towamensing Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within twenty (20) days of the award of the contract. awarded at the Thursday, May 1, 2025, reguarly scheduled Board of Supervisers Meeting at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Towamensing Township Board of Supervisors reserve the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
