A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** General work description: Whole Roof Replacement for Street Division Sign Shop Building. -Install perimeter nailer boards to meet the height of and for the perimeter attachment of the new roof. -Install new flute filler insulation between all ribs of the existing meal roof. -Install a 1/2" coverboard with fasteners over the flute filler layer. -Install new with 60 mil TPO membrane over insulation, mechanically fastened, and all seams heat welded per manufacturer specifications. -The perimeter of roof system will be secured with a termination bar into existing gutters and over fascia -Install new TPO vent flashings and heat weld to TPO membrane -Provide warranty on materials and workmanship -Final clean up of job site and removal and disposal of all debris - Any necessary HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing work that results as a part of the overall Roof Replacement. -Building permits will be at no cost *Change orders will need to be requested beyond the initial scope. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of not less than 5%, payable to City of FlorissantCity of Florissant, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. Performance Bond A performance bond in an amount equivalent to 100% of the contract price must be furnished and executed by the successful bidder. In submitting this bid, the bidder understands and acknowledges that the right is reserved by the City of Florissant to reject any and all bids. If written notice of acceptance of this bid is received within forty-five (45) days after the opening of the bids, the bidder agrees to execute and deliver an agreement in the prescribed form within ten days after such agreement is presented.
