The City of Florissant is seeking bids to install epoxy flooring in 6 bathrooms at St. Ferdinand Park. Contractors should provide, prep, and install a Full Flake Broadcast epoxy flooring system in a total of 6 rooms, totaling 890 SF, with integrated cove base. The expansion gap along the exterior walls will be filled with a flexible material before the coves are installed. The entire system will receive an additional coat of urethane for wear and chemical resistance. Color samples should be provided to the City if selected for the project. Surface Preparation: Abrade all specified concrete surfaces using a portable industrial diamond grinding unit with an integrated dust recovery system or other abrading equipment necessary to prepare the surface to receive the subsequent coating system. Abrade all specified concrete edges using diamond grinding equipment with an integrated dust recovery system. Form a cove base with the floor system for seamless continuation up the vertical surface for four (4) inches, cove and floor system to match Clean and rout out the designated cracks and joints to an acceptable width and fill with compatible filling material to match the intended usage. Remove all damaged or loose substrate previously identified and replace with rapid strength epoxy repair mortar, polymer concrete or other compatible repair material. Contract shall run for a 5 Months period, effective July 2025-November 2025.
