Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The scope of work generally consists of the construction of a new dog park; bituminous parking lot and trail; concrete sidewalk; chain link and privacy fencing; stormwater improvements; landscaping; three add alternates for park appurtenances connection to existing waterline and soundproof fence blanketing; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid made payable to the Borough of Oakmont to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Borough of Oakmont shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided however that the Borough may in its sole discretion delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Borough has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
