**As of June 25,2025 the project was awarded to A. Folino Construction, Inc. with an awarded amount $419,662.81.** The scope of work consists of approximately 5500 square yards of roadway milling and profiling Superpave WMA binder course 1 1/2 " Superpave WMA wearing course base repair structure grade adjustments traffic control line striping trail improvements including installation of approximately 755 square yards of binder and wearing course installation of inlet and manhole and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on various roadways in the Borough. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid made payable to the Borough of Oakmont to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Borough of Oakmont shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided however that the Borough may in its sole discretion delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Borough has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies. Work to tentatively begin on May 22, 2025 and be completed by July 22, 2025.
