Site work for a water / sewer project in Ellensburg, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to install complete flood hazard reduction and flood plain restoration improvements east of the middle-reach Reecer Creek near its crossing at Dolarway Road including creation of a 2,000 LF setback levee, creation of 4,500 LF of overflow swales, and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete this project. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashiers check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. The engineers estimate for the project is$1,100,000 to $1,400,000, plus tax (if applicable). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The City of Ellensburg, Washington, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. Responsibility and competency of bidders and their subcontractors will be considered in making the award.
