Site work for a mixed-use development in Bremerton, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This Contract provides for the installation of four Biopod storm water treatment vaults and two Storm filter storm water treatment vaults near Kitsap Lake along Kitsap Way and Osprey Circle. The work includes, but is not limited to, temporary traffic control, demolition, removal and replacement of storm water pipes and catch basins, grading, furnishing, and installing precast concrete treatment vaults and hydrodynamic separators, reconstruction of the roadway with hot mix asphalt, pavement markings, curb ramps, driveways, and landscape restoration all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The WORK must be completed within 100 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Engineers Estimate range for this project is $2.1 to $2.6 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The failure to furnish a bid deposit of a minimum of 5 percent shall make the bid nonresponsive and shall cause the bid to be rejected by the Contracting Agency. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100 percent of the Contract Price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Bremerton.
