2025 LMIG Pavement Resurfacing & Pipe Repair Project The project includes resurfacing and associated work within the right-of-way of Dutch Ford Road, beginning at State Route 129 and progressing east for 7.04 miles to the Bulloch County Line. Project also includes making repairs to pond dam overflow pipe and resurfacing Rosemary Church Road and cross drain pipe repair on Cool Springs Church Road. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. All work to be performed under this project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Candler County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner .
