2025 TIA Lake Church Road Resurfacing Project The project includes resurfacing and associated work within the right-of-way of Lake Church Road, beginning at Dutch Ford Road and progressing north 3.3 miles to State Route 46. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. Contractor and all subcontractors must obtain a business license in Georgia, be fully insured, and be a Licensed Contractor in the State of Georgia The successful bidder shall secure and pay for all permits, assessments, charges or fees required in connection with the proposed construction. Answers to all questions shall be provided a minimum of 72 hours prior to the time of the bid. All work to be performed under this project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Candler County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner .
