Renovation of an educational facility in Hermiston, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,400-square-foot educational facility.
Project Description: the Project Includes the Following Work: Remodel of the Desert View Elementary School Located at 1225 Sw 9th St., Hermiston, or 97838. The Project Includes the 2,400 Sf Remodel of the Administrative Area and Updated Secure Entrance. The District is Estimating Construction Costs of $1.2m. Construction Schedule: June 2025, Substantial Completion August 2025 Prevailing Wages: No Bid Will Be Received or Considered Unless the Bid Contains a Statement by the Bidder, as Part of the Bid, That "Contractor Agrees to Be Bound by and Will Comply With the Applicable Provisions of 279c.838, 279c.840 . Bid Security: a Surety Company Bid Bond Executed by a State Licensed Surety Company on a Form Acceptable to Owner, a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check Payable to the Order of Hermiston School District, Shall Accompany Each Bid in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Base Bid. No Bidder May Withdraw Its Bid After the Hour Set for the Opening Thereof, Unless the Award of the Contract is Delayed for a Period Exceeding 60 Days. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive as an Informality Any Irregularities in the Bids Received. Interested Firms Shall Have No Unauthorized Contact With District Staff or Board Members During the Selection Process.
