Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Bourne, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 2,425-square-foot, one-story above grade parking garage; for the renovation of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Question Deadline 05/02/2025 at 2:00 PM ET General Contractor questions Tower Lane Parking and Facilities Garage - GC Bid The scope of the project consists of demolition and abatement of the existing 16 Tower Lane structure, and installation of site improvements and new construction to provide a new parking lot and new metal building garage. Work includes but is not limited to: New Metal Building System; New Fire Protection System; New Plumbing System; New HVAC System; New Electrical System; New Sanitary Pump System; and Site Improvements. The project includes four alternates. The base bid scope is estimated to cost $2,344,000.00. Add Alternate 1 consists of all site improvements on the southern side of Tower Lane. Add Alternate 2 consists of dormers on the east side of the garage building. Add Alternate 3 consists of dormers on the west side of the garage building. Add Alternate 4 consists of a new EV Charging System. The work (including alternates) is estimated to cost $2,815,000.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work -- General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement General Contractor questions due by Friday, May 2nd, 2025 by 2:00 PM Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, or, CERTIFIED, TREASURER'S OR CASHIER'S CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in the amount of 5% of the Bid price. The minimum wage rate requirements for this Contract are listed as part of the bid document. Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, 39S(a) (2) all employees to be employed on the project must have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA and of at least 10 hours in duration. The project expected notice to proceed date is May 30th, 2025, with a substantial completion date of December 12th, 2025 and the final completion date no later than December 31st, 2025.
