The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Demolition, Heavy Equipment, Pavement & Curbing, Earthwork, Grading, Utilities Repair/Replacement, and Electrical construction. MPCA Licensed Tank Contractor to oversee removal of the tanks and submit a tank closure report on behalf of the Owner. Other licensed professionals to allow demolition and restoration work to be completed. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Buildings - Administration [Health Services], Recreation Building, Power Plant, Vocation, Storage Buildings 1-3 and Picnic Shelter 2. Parking & Roads - Parking areas and sections of roadways as shown on the drawings, Work also includes restoration of two sections of road, and one new entry access road. Removal of curbs and sidewalks to also be included. 3. Site restoration - backfill of all demolished buildings and other work as described in the Civil documents. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor the work for at least 2 contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 1, 2018, for the complete demolition of office/educational buildings, and access roads, complete site restoration, pre-demolition and abatement coordination. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $500,000 or greater. This Project has a 2% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal. The TG/ED/VO subcontracting goal will not be a consideration in determining the lowest responsible Prime Contractor. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the project's specifications and scope of work.
